Excecutive Summary about Dog Games by Darrin Nelson
There are a number of ways you can find to help your dog stay healthy. Although I will be discussing fun dog games that you can play with your dog I believe that understanding dog nutrition is also a very crucial part of your dog’s health. Studies have shown that dog obesity can take two to three years off of your dog’s life.
I am not a dog owner just to own a dog. I am a dog owner because I love spending time with my dog and I understand that keeping my dog active is crucial to its health.
The Jump and Sit dog games is a great way for your dog to strengthen its leg muscles. When you have your dog over the jump be sure to praise your dog and give a favorite treat. Eventually you can work up to the dog jumping over the object, stop and sit and then proceed to the next jump on your command.
The Tightrope Tease dog games can be played on anything that the dog can walk on. When playing this game I like to reinforce the command Stay. If you want to play this game with your dog it requires you to get a little dirty. At first your dog may be a little hesitant to crawl through a big box or the hula hoops if you have draped something over them but eventually your dog should over come this. Spending time with your dog exercising and having fun is rewarding for both you and your best friend.

One good dog games to play with your dog is hide and seek. This dog games can be very fun for both the dog and yourself!
First, one makes the dog stay by either using the “stay” command or holding the collar. The other goes off and hides in the house somewhere, with a treat of reward for when the dog finds him or her.
You can also expand on this dog games by calling the dog to “come” so the dog has to find you himself, or by getting all the family to play and using their names (this is more advanced).
For example you could say “find Alex” and the dog would find Alex. This is not an essential step and an extremely tricky one, but still possible if you are really serious about training your dog.
Don’t play a dog games for too long as the dog will become tired and not able to take on what you are trying to teach.
